    When we went to SB we went to 34mm. These are 30mm with 1" inserts.

    The pair of painted rings are USMC issued rings with Simrad cap. The other pair I bought from Badger. Anyone know know when or why the change happend? Notice the USMC marked rings are taller. The other pair is number 0022.

    Gunsmithing Remington 700 with 40x Bolt with this work?

    I have an idea that I want to persue. Before I do, would like some advice from the more informed gunsmiths that frequent this site. I want to build an M40A1 clone in 22LR. Will a 40x bolt work in a Rem 700 action for this application? What type of magazine well? Can anyone help on this?
