    They work great! I have no way to measure but felt recoil is reduced a lot. That being said they are LOUD! I double up on ear pro when I shoot mine.

    My favorite all time is a hart heavy varmint barreled Remington 700 in 25/06. I have flat out whacked them and stacked them over the years with that rifle. Last weekend my Tikka 260 got the call.

    Load dev and brass

    It is always better to work up a load with once fired brass from that rifle. That being said I generally work up a decent load with virgin brass then just fine tune it on once fired. Best groups should e on the fired brass.

    Great thread. Have you shot anything at close range with the 131 blackjacks? I wonder if they would hold together on say a 100 yards shot? That would be my only hold up. I do shoot long rang but most of my actual hunting is done from 50 to 300 yards.

    Don't do it! Hold out for LRP brass. I had a horrible time with 300 pieces of Alpha SRP brass in my Tikka. I would love to go SRP in the future but I wont be doing it in a none small firing pin gun.

    If you don't reload I would skip the PRC. My buddy just got one and I am getting better velocity in my 260 with handloads than he is with factory ammo.

    Rifle Scopes Steiner M7Xi 4-28x56

    On my MX5 with a zero MOA base had around 16 MILs. I'm running a 20 MOA rail now and have about 22. Truth be told 16 more than enough for most shooters. 16 Mils will get me to 1500 yards in my current 260 setup. I added the 20 MOA to get me to a mile. Most shooter will never shoot past 1500 yards.

    Co-Ax for me. I will eventually get a progressive for high volume pistol loading but I'll always load rifle one at a time.
