    .45 Raptor - Looking For Load Info

    ...24" barrel, rifle gas length, rifle length buffer tube... I've tried Titanium BCG's and the JP-SCS buffer, it just didn't work FOR ME... The easy button for the 45 Raptor is a rifle length tube/ buffer- 9 oz. -Tubbs Flat wire -Full mass BCG ~ 18 oz.

    24" barrel Rifle gas system...I tried mid-length on another barrel..it sucked ~2600 fps with a 255 Grain Fury 2 bullet -"everyone says that W296, H110 and Alliant 300-MP are the exact same powder"....they are mistaken. They are very similar...but 300-MP is BY FAR the best powder for the 45...

    General RE Lee, I see the Illuminated reticle at 3X in the trees/brush... Do you lose the UN-illiminated reticle in the trees/brush, without Illumination, either in broad daylight or at dusk? Thanks

    This thread was/is fun… From the beginning of this thread... there are no less than 14 different posts telling you how to get this barrel extension to fit into the receiver...and it took you this long to do it? Reading this thread was like listening to a parent try to get their kid to jump...

    The top reticle is the XTR III on 3.3x The bottom reticle is the Veracity 2-10x…on 2x background is a white sheet of paper to get the phone camera to pick up contrast.

    I love my XTR III’s, but I will never use them for the type of hunting that I do again. Spot and stock and deer drives, with that reticle on low power, is a no go. I bought a veracity 2-10x to replace it, and that reticle is amazing!
