    CZ 455 American

It's taking care of all the above! Ever since doing full length bedding haven't had a single complaint or one not shoot. I still get some who ask for an action area only bed but warn them first. They either listen or they don't. When I do setups now for factory barrels I'm inspecting all the...

    CZ 455 American

Out of the box most will shoot between .5"-1" groups at 50 yards. With some work like full length glass bedding the stock, pillar bedding, some mods to the bolt internals, and recrowning the barrel will get them to shoot 1/2" or less.

CZ 455 vs Sako Quad - Which do I buy?

Like stated above both properly setup are equal in accuracy but the quad is built nicer. There is about a $700 difference between buying the cheapest quad to start with verses the cheapest trimmed 455. You can build a 455 lilja combo minus glass for $1000 or less which includes the cost of the...

    Scope recommendation

The sightron sIII are excellent scopes as well but I believe the models that have FFP focus to 40 yards.

    Scope recommendation

If my memory is right, March makes a 3-24x42 that is FFP, has amazing glass, focuses down to 10 yards, but ain't cheap!

Help me with my first rimfire

Few thousand there is only one way to go and that's custom! I'd go with a turbo, 10x, or stiller action. For barrel I'd go for a lilja, trigger jewel, stock manners ect. Have a good smith put it all together and you will have a setup that will be superbly accurate!

How do you make a CZ 455 better?

You mean a cooper, at least that way you get an accuracy guarantee and if anything goes wrong, they are in the usa and can fix it :o

How do you make a CZ 455 better?

To bad I sold it :(. Had someone on RFC beg me to sell it so I gave in, just another excuse to build another lol.

How do you make a CZ 455 better?

Here are a couple I still have. 455 17 hmr, yea I'm calling that stray a flier :(. 455 17 hmr @ 100 yards. Before the full length bed I had the channel bedded for 3" which did well but not as well as full length.

How do you make a CZ 455 better?

When I bed 455's this is how I do it...... The entire length!!!

How do you make a CZ 455 better?

Have you tried Midas +, R50, or tenex yet? The 22 LR are very difficult to shoot at those distances compared to an hmr. My 455 hmr lilja setup is nasty at further ranges!

Atlasworx / DJDILLIODON M5 trigger guard review

Is your stock pillar bedded? The slight differences from 455 to 455 can cause this but it's an easy fix. Mag sure the back side of the mag well spacer isn't touching. If it is file it a little to remove enough material to allow for clearance. If you still get bowing use a round file on the...

How do you make a CZ 455 better?

I feel your pain, the first one I did was a money pit as there was ALOT of trial and error involved. Now the best most cost effective way is to: Start with a 455 synthetic and sell stock and barrel. Grab the lilja of your choice. Boyds tacticool and the bedding work needed. Firing pin spring...

How do you make a CZ 455 better?

What do you have done to your 455!? Full builds I've done with Lilja's usually cost me no more than $900 including the rifle I'm starting with.

How do you make a CZ 455 better?

Accuracy gear mods include: Trigger, many different ways to go about this. You have aftermarket options or you can modify the stock trigger. I have yet to see a stock trigger that can't be made nice. New model 455's (ones I've been doing) have 0 creep so a simple spring swap and polish work is...

    Finnfire II

Pretty sure it is a quad action but the barrels can't be swapped.

    Pretty much nothing lol.

Atlasworx / DJDILLIODON M5 trigger guard review

The reason why it requires a little fitting is because the action screw holes are slightly off and your stock is most likely pillar bedded. If pillars aren't installed the amount they are off by will usually not require fitting.

CZ 455 Ultimate tacticool is now 100% with its new trigger guard (M5!) :).

He is the one I brought the design to and I guess he made some for himself to sell. My next batch will be done at a local machinist as dealing overseas is not fun! I'll also have some tweaks made to them as well.
