    They way the Norma based cases (7-300NM, 7HULK) beat the 7RUM, 28 Nosler, 7LRM is that they use the Lapua bolt face 0.585" and not a smaller magnum bolt face 0.550". So a fatter case = more volume with equal case length.

    JAE are solid stocks but they are extremely heavy. Which may be a good thing, especially for larger calibers. For me personally thought the angled grip does not suit me.

    The holes I'm pointing to was 3 shots at 100 just before I shot the 3 round group at 1000 pictured above. I could try that 1000 more times and probably couldn't make it happen again back to back like that. Got really lucky.

    That is also why some actions notch the feed ramp, like Surgeon, so that the tip of the bullet has more clearance to get over the lip of the feed ramp.
