    I don't ever remember seeing 5.56 turrets for a M3 Ultra. I've got a bag of them tho I'll go find in a bit and double check. Those pre-dated Mk262 and I never saw a Mk12 issued with one.

    As a kid in the 90s, and to this day, the Miller scope mount was the coolest thing I'd ever seen since it is machined to for the turret housing. They were, and always will be, out of my budget but they are cool as hell.

    The only BA I have is a Hanson and it'll pretty reliably shoot 5-shot groups right under an inch at 100yds. My better barrels will do .5-.75" at the same distance.

    Yeah, you can push the 140gn up around 3050fps in a 22" barrel. My 280 Imp 40° (circa 1999) shot 140gn bullets around 3150fps from a 24" Lilja #4 barrel. I would assume you can get another 50-100fps in the 7-08 Imp by adding 4" of barrel but 100fps isn't really a meaningful gain. I think of...
