    I am building a Grendel for that exact purpose: it's lighter and handier than my 6.5 Creed and still lethal as far as I care to shoot it, uses the same bullet I use in one of my Creed loads, you can buy decent ammo, etc.

    A 200m zero works pretty good for real work guns but I always confirm at 200m instead of a 50m zero and how that is good (it's almost never exactly on).

    I also find going from no gas to cycling to have an insignificant effect on MV with a sample of greater than one.

    I develop my loads with gas turned off, adjust gas until it runs reliably, then make any minor tweaks if needed but it rarely requires any adjustment.

    I have a two-stage 1lbs/1lbs that I really like so far. It feels much lighter and cleaner than the factory model I had adjusted as best I could. The Scar also has a really good flat trigger geometry that works better for me than the factory trigger.

    I took a Mark5 5-25x to Ko2M because I didn't like the DoF in the 7-35x the other guys on the team were shooting. I think my ATACR 7-35x is better than either.
