Vudoo vs rim x and gun smith.

Hello all, Going to get a custom 22 for plinking hunting and some matches. I can get a vudoo complete build. Or I can get a rim x action and my smith can install a brux barrel. Basically the vudoo would be 200 bucks cheaper but what do you think is going to be more reliable and accurate...

    Precision Rifles.....show em!!

If you are on a budget keep the current stock and see how it shoots with a new barrel. My savage had a stock that flexed like Walmart Tupperware. If a stock flexes it could cause accuracy issues if it hits different parts of the rifle and barrel sporadically.

    Precision Rifles.....show em!!

I would recommend swapping out the barrel and chassis. I had a savage that was terrible and for 1400 extra bucks I got a one hole gun. To me it was cheaper than struggling to find ammo that would shoot etc. Below Picture is factory ammo, but honestly it shoots everything under 1 moa easy. It...

    Seekins SP10 barrel question

Mine hates 140, really it hates everything. I found some Norma it seems to do 1moa with but fairly disappointing compared to my 6.

    Seekins SP10 barrel question

I got the 6 creed and was so impressed I got the 6.5. The 6 is a laser the 6.5 has been disappointing with fliers. Sent the 6.5 back still leaves a lot to be desired so I may just throw a craddock on it and be done with it. My 6creed shoots .25 all day my 6.5 struggles to hold 1 moa.

    Seekins SP10 barrel question

I have 2 purchased in 2024. I’m not sure about barrel profile I can send pics. Both had the low pro gas block and NOT the gas block the sp10m has with the little flip handle.

Without getting in my hand comparing a seekins sp10 vs dd5 v4

I had very bad luck and poor CS with DD, which is too bad their rifles are so pretty. I have a sp-10 that shoots lights out and is prob one of my fav rifles I have ever owned.

What AR15 cartridge is a worthwhile step up from 5.56?

I have a 6creed built in an ar10 that shoots lights out to 1k yards easy. It’s now my go to pred gun. With a ar15 lower I would love to try the 6arc. I had a 300bo and truly hated it for numerous reasons. I ended up selling it. I do not like the 300bo as I don’t see it fitting in anywhere in...

    DDM4 300S vs Seekins SBR8

I would go Seekins all day. I have a Seekins sp10 and it’s a lazer. They also have great customer service. I had a DD ar platform that I sold. From day one it was one issue after another. DD had very poor customer service as well, I was very disappointed. I will never buy a DD again based off...

Looking for advice on a precision rifle

You cannot really build a custom for 2k. My actions alone were 1800 before any barrel gun smith work trigger etc.

    300nm or 338lm

Sounds like my gun smith and the consensus here all agree 300nm for the win Lol prob go 300nm as it sounds it’s my best bet.

    300nm or 338lm

Yes I could do 28 but wanted shorter for hunting I also wanted heavier bullets like 245/250 not 215 or I may as well just stick with my 300wm or do a 300prc. Barrel length of 26 plus my 12 inch can that’s a beast as it is in the field I guess I could do 28 or so idk.

    300nm or 338lm

I don’t play with hot loads, I had a bad experience years ago it will probably be a pretty mild load as long as it’s accurate. I was thinking 1:8 may be too fast if I ever need to shoot 220-230s if I can’t find heavy bullets ets so I figured 1:8.5 would be a good middle ground.

    300nm or 338lm

Thank you I am not worried about barrel life as I will prob shoot 400-500 rounds a year max and I can get a new barrel spun up pretty easy every 3 or so years

    300nm or 338lm

Hello all I am going to be building a custom large caliber rifle and I am torn between a 300nm and 338lm. This will be a heavy rifle for shooting steel and a few long range hunting spots I have for elk and bear. I originally wanted a 338lm but my smith recommended a 300nm with the new 250atips...
