    Home Shooting Range

I built a 435 yard range in my backyard... Its long and narrow, with trees lining both sides. Built a shooting deck with an upper deck for prone work. Depends on what type of shooting you like and design around that. A covered shooting bench is real nice, and I used fence posts, with pvc...

Night Vision LRI's New UL Varminter optic mount for rifle stocks.

Got mine in today. It went on a HS Precision stock on a 338 Lapua. I got the EFR mount with the side Mlock rail adapter. My 7 slot Magpul aluminum rail section fits perfectly for my PEQ15. Now for some dry weather to try it out.

    Fieldcraft Loophole practice

I got the suppressed part covered. Perhaps I will do another sheet with jagged holes to try next. I do find with the holes fixed it becomes an exercise to get in the proper position and get stable. Using props and multiple bags, it can get interesting.

    Fieldcraft Loophole practice

Yes I understand that part... but crawl walk run... Its a interesting excercise and confidence builder... Are you refering to suppressing the shot to hide the shot? or to use a natural hole/ building feature to work out of like a crack/break/design feature?

    Fieldcraft Loophole practice

My Scope height is 1.95 inches... Running about 2800 fps in my 308... with your offset of 2.02 my calculator shows that if you back up to 8 yards muzzle to barricade you should be able to get through a 1.66 inch high hole minimum...

    Fieldcraft Loophole practice

I use political signs so if I clip a side I don't get a huge deflection. The one clip was my friend who misjudged the width. .5 inch for a .308 bullet leaves not alot room.
