K-Bars What Knife is in your pocket right now?

North Arm Skaha II. It’s Canadian, eh, but I don’t care. I order one every year. https://northarmknives.com/product/skaha-ii/

    Residual material and 3D-printed suppressors

I was being sarcastic, based mostly on the BCG pictures. That kind of wear doesn’t happen in 20 shots even with a BCG literally covered in lapping compound. If you’ve ever lapped bolt lugs on a bolt gun you’ll get my point here; it takes hundreds and hundreds of motions to remove nitride or...

The timing/tension on the lever is also adjustable. There are different instructions depending on which model you have (you should be able to visually tell which one you need to watch and follow). Or

    Giraud Trimmers

I’m sorry, I didn’t realize that was your sale post. Your listing is clear about what they are. I just didn’t want someone to click over and think they were case cutters. Definitely didn’t mean to cause trouble or imply you weren’t being above board!

    Giraud Trimmers

Just a heads up, make sure you see those are meplat holders and cutters not case holders and case cutters. There is a difference. Yes, I see the news of Doug’s passing. Just wanted people to not make a buying mistake.

Same experience here. Glad someone will run with it from here, also.

    22 creedmoor

There is a slight neck length difference in the SAAMI spec between 6.5 creedmoor and 22 creedmoor. I’m assuming that’s a function of the length of angle needed to go from the case body width to a smaller neck of the 22 creed. Regardless, I know a lot of people neck down brass for 22 creed but...

    Magpul - 2025 New Maztech X4-FCS & X4-LRF

Thanks @BurtG that mf’er is huge. I don’t have a mission for it so this kinda solidifies that I’m going to sit on the sideline for a bit. The mars profile is nicer but I don’t need 2 of them.

    Question about trimming

Is there a typo in your post? Between 1.910 and 1.920 is ten thousandths. And if the bulk are 1.915-1.917, that’s pretty solid. SAAMI spec case length for 6.5cm is 1.920 - (minus) .020. So anything between 1.900 and 1.920 is “in spec.” Most of the time people trim brass when it reaches max...

Random copper 1/2-4/3 down the barrel

Put it in a different chassis or stock and shoot a group, just to rule out the one it is in now. I have personally had a problem with a manners mini chassis stock doing this (just one out of maybe 20 I’ve used over the years).

AB Quantum 3.4.4 Vector X, Max Ord, Max Ord Range, Trace & Dialed Elevation Tool.

I have no idea what this means. Are you saying/suggesting that the e-dope people will not sign an agreement or that AB hasn’t provided them with one?

E-dope integration would be nice, agreed with the guy above. But this is a really good update!

Lapua 6.5 144gn Max Range Target

Creedmoor and probably PRC in one of my 8 twist barrels. About the g7 bc: those are essentially the same. One of the actual experts will be along soon enough to answer, but my guess is the g1 difference is probably related to the velocity used for the calculation. And since these are long...

Lapua 6.5 144gn Max Range Target

I have not loaded and shot any, yet. The Lapua is .036" shorter than the Berger 144 (which I measured at 1.412” and set zero on the calipers, note that Berger publishes 1.413” OAL so this one was very close). The boattails appear to be about the same and the profiles about the same. The tip...
