The 22-250 is a good one, the only thing making it not a great one is the fact most commercial rifles are 1-12 twist. I myself would opt for a .223 with the ability to employ 75-90 grain bullets.
Looking to sell my .223 AI bushing neck die, went back to a standard .223 and no longer need this. Will trade for a Redding. 223 fl bushing die, other wise $65 shipped.
The remote will tell you what volume number you are on. You can also set the sound itself to play at a certain volume. So, if you have have one coming in, you can preset a coaxer call for a volume of 5. When switching from the call you just used, to the coaxer, you won't need to mess around with...
Have owned a shockwave for 4 years. For its sound quality, weight, and battery life, you can't beat it. I live in eastern Montana, the call is played at full volume a lot, battery life is not a problem, once you upgrade the battery pack.
Usually shoot a 90 grain vld with 37 grain of h4350. I have recently been shooting the 95 grain matchking with 36.2 grains of 4350. This has a 7 twist barrel at 20". Running the 95 at 3025 fps. Will be using the smk from now on.
Sorry, just saw the reply, not sure what the verified .bc is, Sierra lists .600, I ran it at .595 off the kestrel. Impacts supported the velocity and .bc inputs at 1025, must be close to what they are claiming.
I have been running the 22x47L for the past five years, barrel life on both bartleins was right at 1300. This was running a 90 grain vld at 3150. I am sure the creedmoor will be in the same ballpark. Barrel life= accurate and consistent, not saying it still won't shoot past that, 1300 was the...
I ran these last weekend out of my 20" 22x47 Lapua at 3025fps. 1-7 was working fine, I also dropped the .bc to a .595 and they impacted as predicted out to 1025. That was the longest target on that course of fire. Building a 22 dasher just to run these bullets.
