    Re: Pics of the Mcmillan A-3 Sporter& Adj tact hunter Nice, I have an A-3 sporter at the smiths right now waiting for the barrel. I do like the higher comb for the nightforce. My studs were however angled to match the barrel channel not the forearm taper. But I guess I can have that fixed.

    Re: Barrel length and fixed vs detachable mag? The smallest barrel I have on a rifle is a lilja navy tactical taper, average weight 14 pounds with nightforce scopes. Eberly and sturdy legs help a ton. My coyote rifle weighs 13 pounds. My 308 12 pounds girlfriend shoots deer with that.

    Rifle Scopes burris extreme 30mm rings????

    Re: burris extreme 30mm rings???? I have used the 1" on my 308 with no problems, I also used the 30mm on my 338 with a nightforce and the scope slid forward in the rings. I think you will be ok on the 308. also noted were the cheap screws, get it set up tightened and leave it alone.
