If you like being hands on look up at home DIY 10/22 trigger mods for your old trigger group. If you go to far and mess it up doesn’t matter cause you already got a Kidd.
Barrel and trigger are the two most important parts. I really like the Kidd Auto Bolt release but I think your trigger group already has it.
next a 20 MOA base so you can get out to 300 yards.
This is so cool.
I haven’t noticed what ammo is being tested with these barrels? Is it standard 40gr stuff? Am I correct in think a 45gr bullet would work even better with a 1-12 or so twist at standard sub sonic velocity?
@RAVAGE88 have you tested any fast twist barrels with something like...
Will you back making any barrels or just testing?

You probably won’t get very good groups with the 180 core lokts. Save the brass and load 165 Sierra GameKing with 4350. Your old RCBS can probably make a great reload.
Start with a nice scope that you can dial for elevation and a reloading press. If you stick with the sport you can transfer the scope to your next rifle. Same with the reloading press. Next get a rangefinder and a few steel targets. With the mighty 06 you won’t be pulling the trigger as much as...
MDT is releasing a new stock in a few days. Maybe wait another week before deciding. Have you looked at the Cadex Strike Nuke? There is a snipers hide discount for accessories.
The article said significantly more barrel life than you would expect. So hopefully 800 round barrel life ?
But really the round was designed for belt feed machine guns, so would need to be in the thousands to be viable at all.
I wonder what the uncorking pressure wave of 80k psi will feel like just 16 inches from your face? Probably won’t have many friends at the range if you put a brake on it.
