    I would say that going a new rifle would be a good idea. Bolts for the Tikka are silly expensive unless you get one off someone somehow for a good price. May be worth looking into the Tikka Superlight as a starter? Not too expensive and may shoot well enough to leave standard for the time being?

    Yeah, I'm not a fan of the turrets even with the O ring removed as the clicks are now too easy to move and can easily be shifted during transport. Gotta love the way they have listened and fixed the problem though. Would love a look through the ETR.

    Yeah, I have just removed the "O" ring from mine. The clicks are clearly audible now and more definitive. I'm thinking a turret with less diameter would work better as it would make it harder to turn but it is how it is and it tracks really well.

    Interesting ballistics on these 22 Creeds. Look like the nastiest fastiest lazer beam .22 out there. How does it compare to the 22-243? My .223 1-8 Super Varmint spat the 69 TMK out at 3145 and it was lethal out to 400+ on Goats and medium sized game. I can only imagine another 300 fps...

    Yep they can be a little difficult to manoeuvre with large turrets that protrude past the bottom of the scope. Also found that they are not small enough for some clearance if its really low to the base too.

    Fellas, I have put together a wee video. Very basic but gives an idea of the usability and features. I have found that it dials very accurately and is a good scope for my intended use of gong bashing and hunting. The video includes the reticle on 27x so you can get an idea of the size.

    I have had 5 of them in various calibres up to 300 WM. All of them have been accurate with factory loads. Some of them were tack drivers and all of them loved being loaded for. I won't buy a Rem ever again as long as Tikka keep their quality up.
