    Re: Savage should do a vertical pistol grip accustock Why would you want to do that when you can get a stock savage with a mcmillian, or hs precision. and the reason why they probally dont develop another stock is because that would take a large sum or money to make new stock molds.

    Re: 4831 sc users I have been useing it for a while now and i really don't see change in velocity i think what you are experiencing at the longer ranges is change in air density as it gets warmer.

    Re: Savage accustock pad I am thinking about doing the same the stock pad is way too soft and my shoulder ends up hitting the plastic of the stock only making recoil worse on my 270 WSM

    Re: Good 243 to build on? Depends all savages that have a barrel nut can be changed quickly all but the model 25 have barrel nuts i believe some just have a smooth nut.

    Re: Svage VLP-DBM if you go custom go with the big horn action maybe a little more but it still has the floating bolt head, and i really do love savage i kinda wish i would have got a custom savage rather than a remington. but hey can't complain the remington does have a mcmillian.

    Re: NEW BUILD Eh idk what i don't like about the .223 i think i can get better performance out of my 22-250, .300 yards is as far as i will shoot with this rifle at live animals most likely.
