Suppressors Need a suppressor cover- Tab? Elite Iron? or ???

.. and how immature... You maybe a long time member on here, but let the mass decide for there own... geez! I'm sorry it had to get this far with arguing over "Who's suppressor wraps are better!", but my intentions were all about helping out giving another option. Especially, when one is trying...

Suppressors Need a suppressor cover- Tab? Elite Iron? or ???

Apparently you have no idea of the design of this Bowers suppressor wrap. It covers the can but DOES NOT insulate it. It maybe made of a high heat resistant silicone based material, but the design prevents the heat from building up in the can which explains its ugliness/ridge design.

Suppressors Need a suppressor cover- Tab? Elite Iron? or ???

Well, aren't we speaking of suppressor wraps in general which is being discussed here? So I do think you got the wrong impression. The funny thing with getting the wrap off the hot can isn't as bad as you think.. you just gotta be 10% smarter than the hot can with the wrap on. I posted this as...

Suppressors Need a suppressor cover- Tab? Elite Iron? or ???

I strongly doubt that it holds residual heat... and then burning out baffles. Have you ever held or experience using a Bowers suppressor wrap? I've done a couple of mag dumps with my SBR'd Krinkov canned with an SDN6 wrapped with the Bowers wrap and it seems to cool down just as fast as if...

Very happy with my Bartlein! Where's the copper, man?

I run 2 or 3 patches through mine (in .308) after every outing (at least 100 rounds an outing)... and it shoots great even after having close to 2K rounds through it so far. I honestly thought it was kinda weird till I saw this thread pop up... I am not alone, lol!

    precision rifles... show em

I haven't shot it yet. I've been making few adjustments with the W3C (adjustments I didn't have with the AICS 1.5) to fit me, and doing a hell lot of dry firing. So far, I am loving the sh*t out of the W3C! I'm getting it cerakoted.. the stock finish seems really easy to get scratched up...

Suppressors long range precision suppressor advice?

I agree with you Zak. I just wonder when I hear that QD (especially SDN6's) suppressors are not as accurate. There is no doubt that direct thread on cans are probably the best way to go for accuracy on precision rifles, but with the rifle I have with and without the can (SDN6) on it will shoot...

Suppressors long range precision suppressor advice?

Something to consider when adding a can to a "Long range Precision Rifle". I could be wrong, but the heavier/thicker the barrel the better... maybe even a shorter barrel will retain stiffness which will keep better accuracy compared to longer barrels. I have a AAC SDN6 at the end of my GAP...

Suppressors One can for two rifles?

I am really curious about this specwar... it really looks like a nice system too... I have an AAC SDN6 that I mount on multiple rifles and can shoot less than 1/2 moa with my GAP .308 at a hundred with. There are a few headaches with an AAC SDN6.... one of'em being I had to polish up the...

Suppressors which is best for what

I got an AAC Ti-Rant 45 for my pistols I plan on using on a 22lr rifle... lets see how this'll turn out :) I also have a AAC SDN6 I use on my .308 and on my Krinkov 5.45x39 with no issues.
