There wasn't anything in-stock here in CO. and saw that the AAC SDN6 would work I figured why not. I have a buddy that has the Gemtech setup and thought it was great, but I went with the SDN6 so I could move around on different host with different calibers.
You would probably have to ask him...
This^^^ and or call your dealer and see if they've received your paperwork.
I had to call mine today after waiting 15 days after being approved and found out that they had it all along.... sh*t....
I agree.... I'd express my disappointment in their finished product.
If it were something we can buy off the shelf... I probably wouldn't mind so much, but the idea of paying for an item plus $200 for a tax stamp and wait for 6 to 7 months to get in your possession to find and see all that sh*t...
He's right... I'll be glad to take any ammo off you hands :)
I shot ammo made in the 70's, 80's, 90's... from .308, .45 acp, and of course Russian ammo 5.45x39
Depending what type between a flash hider or a brake you'd probably have to time it, and at all cost avoid using crush washers... I was warned by my gunsmith if you get a baffle strike that might be the reason why... he explained that the crush washer may give it a slight/tiny cant enough to...
Update with approval dates.... all I'm waiting for is the call to come and get'em. They did wait till the .45 Ti-Rant got approved before sending both paperwork out.
Christmas in February...?
Re: First Time Long Distance Shooter
First off... Thank you for your service! Welcome and enjoy!
When you say long range... how far do you plan to shoot or have access to shoot?
Inside 1K yards... .308 and all those 6mm calibers should get the job done.
Outside 1K yards... I'd say magnum...
Re: G19 or G34
I didn't know they had longer barrels for 34's to get or have threaded....
what ever trigger set up you got on your 34 you can do on your 19.
I would do the 19... it'll look pretty tacticool with a threaded barrel on it... the 34... I can't imagine it any much longer than it...

Re: Suppressing 5.45 Krinkov?
I had my good friend/gun smith (BPTactical) shave off enough meat to get the Brakeout to screw directly on the barrel leaving me some meat to thread back on the muzzle booster if needed.
I was initially going with a blank, but he recommended mounting it straight...
Re: Colorado suppressor dealers??
I bought 2 cans from Machine Gun Tours.
They set everything up for me.. paperwork was set up pretty quick. The guys in there are cool as hell. Alan (One of the Big guys/Owner) is really cool to chat with too... he'll even let you fondle with his machine guns...
Re: Done With My Budget Rifle
Good stuff man! A beautiful rifle build for a budget project!
I would've mistaken it for a $3K rifle.
As far as loads go. I found the speed my rifle likes (Keeping a consistent 5 shot group) and played with OAL. Maybe it will help you out a little to get'em...
