The other issue is no matter what change you make/ class you create, people are gonna bitch. Hell, if you gave away the aforementioned setup to anyone who wants to compete and gave them ammo to shoot every event AND ammo to practice with folks would still complain.
The sport has grown, but I'm...
I like the overall idea of a spec class. I do agree with a previous post to allow maybe two or three different rifles-guys can buy a gun from a company they know, allow re-barreling-same length and general profile as stock, and allow handloading- I think folks who haven't done a prs type...
Well... Sig must think the design is good enough to put out a copy (even if it's quite a bit cheaper). I wonder if the economy of scale makes it easier for Sig to produce.
So...
I heard about the whole gain twist thing through the everyday sniper and ordered a gain twist Bartlein from Compass Lake Engineering in 223. Here in the formerly great state of Kalifornia I am fortunate enough to shoot squirrels with unleaded bullets (thank you government overlords) and am...
Has anyone tried this or have any opinions?

As a casual competitor I like the production division, but I think having some differentiation between top guys and scrubs (like me) might be a good thing. The shotgun group I used to shoot with had divisions based on points and finishing position. If you won a match or consistently placed top...
I go to a gym that has many different locations and at a location I've never been to I put my shit in a locker and then worked out. All finished, I went back and got my shit. Walking out of the locker room, I passed two old ladies going in. They gave me a strange look.
I had put my shit in the...
I'm down for any company making new stuff. I think the Q Fix, Daniel defense Delta 5, Sig Cross are all good for the sport. This one will have teething problems like the rest, but folks figure it out.
Freedom of choice people!!!
I've had this Cold Steel AK for about 10 years now and have absolutely beat the ever loving hell out of it. It was my duty knife for 8 of those years and I think I may have paid $60. Whatever replaces it will be American made, but this thing will always be a favorite. That pommel on the end has...
Having fairly recently retired from said LEO position in the formerly great state of Kalifornia, I would say it's not a bad idea on it's face, but I'm not sure now is the best time to shallow out the applicant pool. Most departments already have incentive programs and it's pretty hard to go past...
You need to find a REALLY good physical therapist. Trunk strengthening and pilates are your friend. Look up Dr. Robert Watkins/ Back Doctor/ Pain relief on the app store. This stuff will help, but get on the pilates, it will save your life.
My procedure wasn't as bad as yours, but this will help.
I dunno, there hasn't been any real, meaningful evidence yet. It's all just hyperbole and ranting. We're getting close to the point of no return on the certification of votes and that will be that.
If they're gonna go, they better go quick.
