    That's almost exactly the same as my build. Dumb question, are you loading the 153's light? 2680 seems kinda slow compared to the 147. Not criticism, just curious.

    Anyone else running a 28" tube for 6.5 Cr? My gunsmith had one handy and made me a great deal on a Bartlien. It is a 1-8 twist M24 contour. What kind of velocities are you getting with 140 and 147 grain pills?

    Issue solved. I think i could have done better if i would have taken it to .078. But it is functional now. I put an Odin works tuneable GB on it. Now im running a Sprinco Red with a 3 oz buffer and it runs smooth.

    Problem solved I think. As embarrassing as it is to report this, I pulled the gas block and actually pin gauged the port. UGH!!! it was at .071. WTH???? I figure that because it is listed as .086 on the Proof website that it would in fact be at .086. I set it up on my mill and cut it out...

    I'm at 3.8 oz now. Bolt locks on manual operation. Gas block alignment looks good. Verified by removing and inspecting the carbon rings.

    Just barely out the side. Also worth mentioning, when firing, the carrier just feels sugish/slow. If I put a,suppressor on it and it works, would that confirm my suspicion?

    This is not an adjustable. It will feed the next round but not hold the bolt open.
