    Tikka's Slow Barrels

    With handloads all my factory Tikka barrels have wound up running pretty high velocities for the give cartridge. I suppose if you're shooting only factory ammo that .1" jump to the lands lowers the pressure curve.

    I dunno what they are selling for in the us but I price checked in Europe and it was like $2700ish export price so a pretty damn good deal. Assuming there isn't any import taxes or anything.

    I agree I felt the same way. I like my 1.13" barrel hugging mounts but, eh, it's the way the world is headed.
