    Opinions of Shorty AIAWs

They definitely look cool cut back. My opinion is that short barrels are mainly to improve maneuverability at the potential expense of velocity. AI's are heavy beasts. No matter how far back it is cut, it will not likley improve the maneuverability due to its weight. If your rifle weighs close...

Rifle Scopes Lens Covers for Nightforce

I like the one that it comes with. I use some paracord wrapped around the scope tube to keep it attached to the rifle.

Another TAB gear sling question..RAS vs elite

I need to pick up another sling and have been going back and forth on ordering a regular TAB or trying the no buckle version. As I said, I do like the option. Better to have it and not need it?

"Designed to enable maximum tactical use of your iPhone [...]" That right there is funny.

Rifle Scopes Nightforce new product development

I have. They could adapt their design. Seekins doesn't have any issues getting a few 0.01's lower due to their unique take on the product. Sure, it's a long shot, but never hurts to try- or in this case, ask.

Another TAB gear sling question..RAS vs elite

Walters makes a good point. I have a TAB sling with the regular fastex buckles. I removed one of them (the sling has two, which is unnecessary for me) and barely ever use the other. I do like having the feature available, but I probably wouldn't miss it if it were a steel ring instead.

Thank you! I was not aware of this option. I would prefer to keep my money in NA.

Sniper Central Rifle Builds - Opinions Please

I think they are fine, but you can do the same and save money. All SC is doing is putting readily available pieces together. It's easy to do yourself- and fun! So, 1) Buy a barreled 700 (New or used) 2) Buy a stock (New or used) 3) Buy trigger and bottom metal (New or used) 4) Screw together...

"Discreet Case"= Same product? Galati, US Peacekeeper, Blackhawk, Tac Force???

LawnMM, Thank you for the link and review. That does help. It seems the Galati uses YKK zippers, while I do not believe the others do. Considering the grief a Condor bag is giving me, I would pay extra for better zippers! Triad, I did not know Blackhawk made theirs in Vietnam. Have you used...

"Discreet Case"= Same product? Galati, US Peacekeeper, Blackhawk, Tac Force???

Due to another recent thread, I've started looking at cases again. I'm looking for a rectangular case without MOLLE all over the outside. After watching some video reviews and looking at websites I've noticed that the 'Discreet' style cases meet my needs and they all look identical across...

    Nice rifle soft case suggestions?

There is also Triad Tactical's Drag bag. I'm tempted to buy one for my next rifle. It looks to be a simple no unnecessary pockets or straps design.

So im new on here and have a few questions...

Maybe look at the Bell & Carlson or HS precision stocks. You should be able to find a used one within your budget. I prefer synthetics over wood.

Rifle Scopes I hate Leupold's customer service

I was about to come and defend them... Leupold has always went above and beyond whenever I've contacted them. A+ company.

So im new on here and have a few questions...

Stocks: How much are you willing to spend? Since it is for a dual role, chassis' will probably be crossed out due to weight. McMillan and Manners are popular. They can be very light with carbon fibre options. If 500 yards is your average maximum range than maybe have your barrel cut for better...
