    I typically run different loads at 100-600 and 800-1000 yards. No need to beat rifle up with fast loads at 600 yards. Its all about accuracy there. At a 1000 you need accuracy and very low differences in velocity. My goal for any 1000 yard low is extreme spread of less than 10fps for ten rounds

    Simple term AR/M16 before free float equals 300-400 yard weapon With free float it has won 1000 yard matches. Seriously what I have noticed even with same heavy bullets the free float does far better

    F T/R Competition Suggested velocity for 69gr SMK?

    You are limited by barrel twist but I would try the Hornady 75s and see how they work from 9" twist. Other than that I would shoot for 3000 fps from 69s Varget, H4895, N530, N140 powders will get you there
