    I suggest you try my Tactical Intervention Slip Cuff Quick Release. Its 1.45" wide and designed exactly for what you want to do. More than a few are on SR25 type rifles in Afghanistan as we write this. It has a quick adjustment feature. Triad Tactical has it on his website

    Red Tac Gear Ammo Management Platform

    Red Tac is very good. I use it on several rifles. For the open rounds I have found none better. Lots of knock off but none better. For stock pack type I use Triads as it holds a ton, well made and price is great.

    I make elastic keepers for my nylon slings. I have a dark coyote that would probably match leather and protect the stock from the metal. Give me a PM if that solution sounds good. The carry strap in link is very pretty and looks well made

    tab gear vs triad . open top pouches for ai mags ?

    Never used the TAB but sure looks good and I like the ability to run 20 rd mags in it as well. I have used Triads for a few years and they work well and price is great

    No doubt in my mind the new 7-42 beats all the scopes listed above. I don't now exact weight of new Leupold but when they developed it we where told it was a couple of ounces less than Nightforce Comp which is lightest of the scopes the OP asked about

    Of the scopes you listed I would get the 8-32 NXS. It has lower power but all the power but a heck of a lot more adjustment than the BR or 12-42NXS. If your stuck on more power than get the 12-42 NXS. Flat out tougher better scope than the BR

    Are you talking about me? Mike Miller from Tactical Intervention? If so what context on the PVS10? I don't recall conversation but since I broke my back in 2010 I forget a lot. My recollection on PVS 10 is they had a few for testing but I don't recall where it went from there.
