    Kestrel Compass issues

I think you've got it except...generally wind direction is expressed on the "heading" you'd be facing if you looked directly into the wind. Look up your local airport weather observation and stand outside and check the wind direction....it'll make sense. So in your example above if DOF is 225...

PRS Talk Lazer Range Finder w Ballistic Calculator

Some of the longer stages/smaller or obscured targets you may not be able to obtain a laser range, and subsequently no solution. Additionally, some stages (ie. elevated platform that can only facilitate one shooter/RO at a time) you'll end up slowing down the match flow. It is a nice system...

    Gunsmithing 7RM + 180 ELD-M reamer spec questions

RBros has a 7RM reamer that shoots like a dream even with the "retarded" belt. I'd give Travis a call.

    Shot Show

A single Space Gun/Sponsored/Unlimited class may generate 10 systems on the shooting line for a regional "match", whereas the addition of a <25# .585 Bolt face class and now you have 3 times as many shooters at your event.

    Shot Show

The reason to encourage classes is to encourage participation and develop the ELR market. Without classes the current vector of ELR "competitions" will likely be Exhibition/Promotion events like they largely are now (I.e. small subset of industry connected & sponsored shooters) as these shooters...

    Rifle Scopes Diopter/eye box questions?

Take a piece of paper (envelope, notebook, etc) stand beside your rifle, and put it behind your eyepiece. Watch the exit pupil change in size and intensity as you vary both the magnification on the scope, and the "eye relief" of your sheet of paper. The amount of fore/aft/left/right/up/down of...

Issues with Shoulder Bump in Custom Whidden FL Dies

LE wilson will take 3 pieces of several times fired brass and hone you out a FL Bushing die as well if Whidden won't make this right. The shoulder diameter of fired cases shouldn't exceed the reamer print dimension.

Issues with Shoulder Bump in Custom Whidden FL Dies

Ok My next three questions would center around determining if in fact your fired brass diameters actually do indeed exceed the finish reamer print diameter dimensions. Diameter of cases with several firings on them at 1. 1.200" north of case head (your reamer print has this 1.200 dimension...

Issues with Shoulder Bump in Custom Whidden FL Dies

Samb300 Is your reamer a removable pilot or solid pilot? Do you have access to high quality measurement tools (not a $30 set of digital calipers). I have some too but it'll add credibility to your measurements as literally .001 makes a difference here. I find it troubling looking at a fired...

    King of 2 Mile Update

Some didn't have advance knowledge of when registration for the match was going to open? I was under the impression that knowledge was "released" early to the chosen few. If so, this would seem to stifle true competition and is damaging to the credibility of the KO1.9M exhibition labeled as a...
