    Suggestion for free float forearm.

I personally wouldnt do that to a 6920 unless you needed the rail space it puts in front of the A2 sight and can't swing a 1 piece unit that requires the FSB removal. As long as your are shooting a bullet your carbine likes, accuracy should be AoK. The accuracy will only be marginally...

    Suggestion for free float forearm.

That is for mid length gas. You should look at Daniel defense 7.0 lite for carbine. Either way you will have to remove the front sight to install any 1 piece hand guard.

    Armalite AR-10 opinions

Their standard pencil barrel carbines say 2-2.5MOA but with 168 FGM 1-1.5 is easily achieved, With the target model the OP is referring to with the same ammo .5-.75 Using 5 round mags for hunting will do you alot of favor in the weight department. Replace the trigger and put a surefire brake...

    LMT MWS....UBR vs. PRS

You should add the State to your profile as a lot of guys here are pretty friendly and if you're close bye will let you check theirs out. Another good option is the get both, decide what you like and pass the one you don't want on to another member in the classifieds for a reasonable price...

    LMT MWS....UBR vs. PRS

UBR if you're wearing body armor unless you have long arms. UBR is a nice balance for a shorter weapon since the weight isn't extended so far rearward. LMT SOPMOD would be nice too. If you haven't seen the UBR, the lockup is solid

    Remington 742

While not all 742's have ejection issues and yours may be AOKAY, before you fire it, take the stock off and inspect and clean the chamber. This design was intended to be cleaned from the muzzle end and cleaning the chamber can be a challenge. Taking the stock off will allow you liberally spray...

    Rifle Scopes Vortex? Leupold? USO?

You could have one of these and save yourself almost a pound. I've got 2 with the TMR and never missed a shot that wasn't my fault and never had to use the lifetime warranty. Leupold Optics Mark 4 ER/T 6.5-20x50mm (30mm) M5 Front Focal - | Leupold Optics They can be had far less than the...

Tripods - Aluminium or carbon fiber, and why?

Carbon fiber is plenty sturdy and lighter weight. As long as you don't exceed the recommend weight ratings by too much you'll be fine. Check out the ones with the Q90 feature if you want to be able to get close to the ground. The reduced weight makes it nice for lashing to a backpack. Costs...

LMT MWR On hold but need help

I've had great experience with Armalite and I would recommend you check this out. Swap the trigger and handguard to your preference and of course make the necessary compliance changes and you will have a fine rifle with the accuracy you desire and be able to use the mags you already have. They...

Rifle Scopes New guy needing help

Says here the reticle is calibrated for M855 in an M4 and is intended to be zeroed at 100 meters at 4x. See 3.2 page 27. http://www.eurooptic.com/PDF/Elcan-SpecterDR-1x4-Manual.pdf As for the 25/300 meter zero, I would first say that after zeroing at 25 meter you fine tune at 300. In any...

    Comp/Brake/Flash Suppressors

The best brakes push most of the pressure and sound out the sides so either you deal with that or have a lesser brake. It doesn't bother me and I've never had anyone wearing ear pro complain about it so I'm keeping mine. Suppressor is the other better option if it's legal where you live.

AR15 Flip up sights - suggestions?

Anything in the rear that includes elevation adjustment is going to be calibrated to a particular projectile in a particular barrel. You may find your load/barrel comes close but otherwise you'll have to pattern it to your particular setup for the greatest accuracy. If you can find a cartridge...
