    Don't forget the new Vortex 3-27 at $3k msrp and 33mils of elevation I believe. Heavy scope, but looked promising at SHOT. I'll be getting one to play with for sure!!

    Email Berger. They will email you load data for your bullet and powder combo. I've found their numbers are realistic, if they say max load then approach it with caution. Not like some manufacturers who's max load is padded by the attorneys.

    Standard. Wasn't so much the glass quality as the eye relief, exit pupil, eyebox...whatever. Just a pain in the ass to use. I have an Angled Vortex Viper HD 15-45x65 Angled I'll make you a deal on if you want something smaller than the big razor for the field. J
