That dude needs to stay in his lane with shooting, but that’s a whole other story.

PVA Solus .223 Wylde Barreled Action (Barrel question)

I like your style, it’s a barrel burner so why go premium as long as it’s shoots because it’s got a short life expectancy

    Tangoinnos Fire4000

They haven’t officially been released for sale yet, but there is an email list to let you know when they are available. I know the dude from T-Rex arms got to test and seemed to enjoy it.

PVA Solus .223 Wylde Barreled Action (Barrel question)

So they are sorta a mixed bag of quality blanks, that’s kind of cool. You save a few bucks and get to try different brands of barrels

PVA Solus .223 Wylde Barreled Action (Barrel question)

I knew they were the same group and did the barrels for Aero in regard's to the AR platform, but it slipped my mind they would also be the ones doing the work for the bolt action stuff.

PVA Solus .223 Wylde Barreled Action (Barrel question)

Didn’t know BA was the supplier for them, but makes sense. I’m just a little confused since I’ve never heard of the supplying barrel blanks to smiths to spin up.

PVA Solus .223 Wylde Barreled Action (Barrel question)

That’s a very good question, I want to say they are possibly using rock creek barrels but I’m probably wrong. Hey @bohem you care to shine some light on this question.

    Preferred barrels barreled action?

I can’t speak for the action, but I can say I’ve run a few of their barrels with great success. I’m currently using one of their 22LR barrels on my RimX for PRS22 and it’s been an absolute hammer the last two seasons, I’ve also got a new 223 barrel from them coming for a PRS build.

Yeah, I’d rather not be tethered to something else to supply environmental conditions and somehow I’d manage to mess up. I mean if you’re going to run a kestrel on a tripod with the weather vain then it’s cool but definitely defeats what I’d be looking to do with it.

    Tangoinnos Fire4000

So they got back to me, the only thing onboard is the inclinometer/declinometer with everything thing else coming via the app or kestrel. So that’s mildly annoying since it’s not going to be a standalone device, but I guess it could be worse.

    Tangoinnos Fire4000

I have a feeling that might be the case, I guess time will tell if it’s worth the risk of chinesium LRF. I wanted to grab one when I heard the price when they open the preorder up, but I’ll give it sometime to let other people take the risk off the bat.

    Tangoinnos Fire4000

I’m waiting to hear back about what they packed into this in regards to sensors, I know it’ll doing angles but beyond that I’m not sure. I did see this while reading the manual for it.

Show off your Manners PRS-TCS Stocks

That’s fair about not doing the pockets, the rail is ment for max weight so pulling weight to then add it back in would be a bit silly. Now for a longer forend TCS, that’s definitely something I could get behind and would definitely pay for. I’ve never had an issue with my PRS1’s forend but a...

Show off your Manners PRS-TCS Stocks

It’s cool to see the rail has actually come out for purchase, but all the rest is pretty lame. Especially the threads being messed up and not being pocketed for additional weights like the original but I guess they figured the added weight didn’t warrant the pocket weights.

Converting my TL3 barrels to Origin, anything I need to know?

It’s possible, I’d send your machinist the tenon print for the TL3 and Origin just to see what they say.

    Starline 308 SRP question

I never thought about the brass being a little short and not allowing for a solid primer strike for ignition. I know I’ve had that happen with my dasher when I was figuring out the length I needed for a false shoulder but otherwise it’s not something that would cross my mind.
