    Semi Auto 17 HMR ... is there any options besides Volq?

    If you can find them, Ruger used to make a 10/22 Magnum, and Butler Creek a kit for .17HMR conversion. Kit was just a stock and heavy barrel. I built one and it ran great, sold it in a fit of stupidity though. I still have a kit, just looking for a 10/22 Magnum. 1911fan

    I wouldn't mind having a lifetime supply. As it is, teaching the wife & daughter to shoot, and using a .22 to practice breathing, form, and weak-side shooting have me burning it up at a pretty good rate. That's not counting sage rat trips, which can burn a couple bricks a day. I can't find...

    I'm a smartass this early in the morning and will admit you did make good points. I keep reading about how there is no shortage of ammunition and we should be able to get what we want, was even in the NRA magazine last month. It's just not happening. 1911fan
