    Remington 742

    Just remember it is a semi-auto, do not load as if it is a bolt. Mild/standard velocity. My son had a friend with one and I would swear the manual said have a smith clean/inspect every year. Said friend now has a DPMS which he is very happy with. Good luck.

    Try shooting 20 as fast as you can at 3050fps. My rem 700 shot the last four touching at 100yds.     Not bad, I do think drinking the sixz pack each before the scotch is in the best interest to keep my friendz. I did drink some more cutting it with pepsi. Still wouldn't recommend to anyone I like.

    ^^^ This. Exception, rough barrel will destroy even a good bullet. I have good luck with 85's thru a 1-8 Lothar. 62gr VG's running 3900fps (magneto) stay in tack to 400+ yds.

    I don't use Lee, but I never have had to use enough pressure to seat any bullet (let alone VLD's) that can damage the tip. I do use VLD's for most of my shooting. Quantifying, I don't shoot much over 400 yds. as I hunt only in eastern Ne. Still, I haven't ever seen any deformation of the tips...

    HELP!!! My girlfriend thought she was giving me a good gift of Scotch. PC7? Switchblade, how I do drink this (to me crap?) without puking? Girlfriend says I can't kiss her if I drink it before. Really strong peat/smoke with glycerin after taste.

    I had a Rem. do that. My 'smith peened the barrel and trued the receiver (made sure it was round). Price about $100, unfortunately, it now likes Eley 10X.

    I just looked at their site (DIP) and it clearly states the magazine is manufactured by CZ. I can see why they want you to contact CZ. All reports I have read over at RFC indicate good service from CZ. Good luck.

    Pulvy, My understanding is that vertical dispersion is more noticeable 300yds +. If you are confident of equal care/skill shooting each group, then yes, #4. IMO
