    Anyone own a fluted Solus hunter rifle and have a weight on it? Was looking at the 6.5 PRC and 6.5 Creedmoor, one says it weighs 7.8lbs, the other says 8.92lbs. A pretty big spread so I was wanting confirmation.

    I think my proof 223 barrel is really settling in, shot my best 10 round group at just under 3/4" @ 100 with the 69gr Freedom Muntitions ammo. Good cheap fun.

    As an update, the mags work in my bravo but the initial fit was tight. The attached pictures show the area that was rubbing the bottom of the action. I actually just hit the bottom of the mag with my palm and it shaved off enough for the mag to seat. Then I sanded the area for a few seconds...

    Agreed, starting over, The Origin would be the answer. The bolt faces and prefits as a pair are the main factors in my opinion. After having 3 tikka bolts fluted at LRI, it all adds up to the origin being the logical starting point.
