    I'd avoid this camera as if it had a venereal disease. It likely exists for one reason...so FLIR can be the 1st to offer IR to the masses. I have 3 high end FLIR diagnostic cameras and they're very good at what they do, but I would not use the word "rugged" in a sentence when describing them...

    The dominant eye simply has better vision than the non-dominant eye and your brain interprets this as "comfort". Most good optics can "dial out" any vision advantage between eyes. I'm right handed and left eye dominant and it feels completely natural shooting righty because I train that way...

    Bolt grease... Mobil 1, Mobil 28, other stuff?

    ^^^This. I've Run Mil-Comm grease in both bolts and autos for 3 yrs now and it just plain works. It stays where you put it, is very slick, and has very good heat/cold tolerance. I have well over 20K rounds through platforms running this grease.

You wouldn't think this could be done in 2 days but you guys pulled it off brilliantly. An excellent and intense COF combined with just enough classroom made for a great weekend...
