Re: Mounting optics on the M1A? I have heard from people who've had very good experiences with the Bassett Machine mount (http://www.bassettmachine.com/). It's counter-intuitive that a single-point mount would be superior to a three-point mount, but it's what Mr. Garand himself had intended.- LFOD1776

I ordered the big 'un nine months ago today and it just arrived; it makes the 58mm SN3-2200 I was using on my AW50 look like a runt! Now I've got to send in my AW50 and new Lilja barrel to GAP so I can take maximum advantage of the new eyes. Should be nice when all's said and done...- LFOD1776
