    Actually thinking of a bolt & barrel fluting for my little 300 Blackout rig with the heavier barrel. Then it needs to have the metal Cera Koted, stock painted or dipped, and on and on. These things are getting to be an addiction.

    I use the 165 GK in my 30-06 and have downed many deer with it. My buddy used the same bullet in his 308 in Africa for plains game with no issues. Don't think I'll take mine to Africa, but they are my go to deer round in the 165.

    Can't get the pic you want as I only shoot Blaser rifles and ARs so no turn bolts for photos. The Cat tail is short enough I can't imagine it ever interfering with bolt manipulation. The clicks are more affirmative than any on my 2.5-10x32 models.
