    Rifle Scopes Vortex 2.5-10x32

I have 2 of these (MOA Thank You). I really like their looks, performance and you can't beat the price for all the features included in this one. I fondled one at SHOT show. The Vortex guys probably still have my fingerprints all over their demo models. It's even better sitting on my rifle...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Trying to decide HK USP or SIG TACOPS

I carry a Sig M11 A1 for my EDC retirement handgun. Love it as was VERY glad to give up my issued tupperware guns when I retired. Not that there was anything wrong with them, I just prefer metal in my hand. Guess that comesfrom carrying steel and alloy guns for MANY years until forced into...

Rifle Scopes MOA/MOA and SFP: Recommendations?

Re: MOA/MOA and SFP: Recommendations? I just picked up a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x50 with MOAR reticle. It;s going on a 338 Win Mag barrel for my LRS2. Trying to set it up as a poor man's 338 Lapua rig. Very impressed with this scope so far. Been too cold to wring it out much, but I will be...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Glock 23 Long Slide

Re: Glock 23 Long Slide I had Michael At CCA make my 19 into a 19 with a 26 grip size. I've always liked the CCO in the Government Model/1911 style handguns. The shorter grip allows for easier concealed carry and the mid length barrel is better for shooting. I do use the Pearce finger...

Hunting & Fishing new scope for my rifle

Re: new scope for my rifle I have 3 of these scopes with a different reticle in them. It is a great hunting scope and I've used one of them on my long range shooter to ban steel out to 1000 yards. On my 6.5x55 Pronghorn rifle, it has accounted for several animals to as far as 487 yards...

Re: Best optic for 10.5" AR pistol I use a Micro H1 on mine. Also have an RMR that works well, but I like the H1 a bit better.

    Tikka T3 Picture Thread.

Re: Tikka T3 Picture Thread. T3 Lefty. Started life as a .223 and is now my walking rifle in 300 Blackout. Feeds perfectly and VERY accurate. T3 Lefty again in 308. Frequently rides in my truck with me. It's a tack driver with 168 Win BST factory loads. Don't even try to reload for it...

Hunting & Fishing OK Coyote (pic test)

Re: OK Coyote (pic test) Great coyote. 2 of my friends took some of the nicest coyotes I've ever seen in late November while we were hunting on a friends ranch south of Lindsay, OK. One female was a big bruiser and had the nicest pelt I've seen on a coyote in years. I was deer hunting at...

    Hunting & Fishing Track ID

Re: Track ID My professional experience taught me that to be a wolf track, it needs to be at least 4" across and near 6-7" long. This looks like a bit=g dog. No way iit's a cat. May be a youngster, depending on the time of year.

Hunting & Fishing 3 electronic calls - on the fence

Re: 3 electronic calls - on the fence I have a Fox Pro and it works very well. Easy to down load new calls and battery life is acceptable, even in the very cold temps around here. Never needed to try customer service, but my hunting partner did and was very happy with their assistance.

Finally got my .260 project together

Re: Finally got my .260 project together Great look to your rifle. I have a bolt rifle stock painted in similar Duracoat colors and patterns and love it. Have you shot it yet? I'm in the process of checking out my options for a 6.5 something for my 308 AR. Very interested in hearing of...
