    Best Long Range Cartridge

None of those are good options for building long range shooting skills when starting out.

    Which Micrometer Seater Die?

I've been really happy with the RCBS MatchMaster dies. I've got 3 sets of them now, in fact.

    🎯ROLL CALL--Precision Rifle Expo🎯

I had planned to be there, but I won't get to make it after all. It sucks, too, since there's a few people going I haven't seen in person in quite a while.

Keep in mind, glass is always subjective to they eyeball behind it and the exact conditions they're compared in. That said, the Bushnell glass has always looked great to my eyes, and just gets better with every revision. It's a big part of why I have stuck with them. That was something I was...

    Soon - Elite Tactical 3

XRS3 has a very noticeable improvement in glass clarity, with far less darkening at max power (My XRS3 is brighter at 36 than my 2s at 30x) and far brighter overall. The bigger turret markings are also a nice addition for a lot of folks.

    New Scope Purchase, Need Input

That said, my (admittedly biased) vote is Bushnell. The glass in the XRS3 is really impressive, and they're tracking just as dead nuts as every other Bushnell ET optic I have owned. The G4 reticle made me love a floating dot, too.

    New Scope Purchase, Need Input

I can confirm the XRS3 does not have a tunneling effect at the bottom end. That said, I doubt you'd ever run any of those at minimum magnification in a PRS match.

It all depends on distance and mover speed, but I've used it quite a bit on 300 and 500 yard movers, either from lead edge or center. It still works as a wind reference as well, obviously.

Scope that focus down to 25 yards

Bushnell Match Pro goes down to 10 yards, and it's been working really well for a bunch of rimfire shooters around here. The only reason I stopped running one was I upgraded to a DMR2 HDMR-CR.

Yep, the 1.2 is a mover hold, same as it was on the G3. If you can consistently shoot that .05 difference, then I dunno what to tell you.

    New Scope Purchase, Need Input

For anyone that hasn't pulled the numbers up themselves, it's only ~3 MIL difference in total adjustment (32 vs 29 MIL). IMO, well worth it considering the glass and magnification advantage on the Bushnell.

    Bullet weight question

I'm also running 168 ELD-Ms at 2750, and that combo is pretty potent for a 308 trainer ot tac class rifle.

    New Scope Purchase, Need Input

GA Precision has XRS3s in stock as of today. I've got one on my PRS rifle and have been extremely happy with it. It's a significant upgrade in glass over the previous generation XRS, plus the new reticle is about perfect for PRS matches (IMO).

    Barrel Length for PRS

The only TX matches I ever made it out to were the ones Geordie ran at Lone Star. Even if Navasota is running that kind of thing, that would make them one venue out of many. Maybe Shannon has used it at a Kahles match, but it's been a few years since I saw the pipe of pain run at K&M, and...

    Barrel Length for PRS

Given how rarely I see small ports for barricade stages, or enclosed pipes for obstacles any more, a long barrel (even one with a can) is almost never an issue. Even in a "shoot house" type setup, there's plenty of room to maneuver around.

Hunting scope without spending a fortune....

Seconded. The LRHS2 is pretty legit, especially for the price.
