I would agree 100%. After just spending the entire weekend at our state match, the only thing I would change is, seeing an X or 10 when the target comes up instead of steel.
Other thing I recall. Was watching with a auto darkening welding helmet. When sun was 50-70% blocked, was still pretty bright outside. When it went 100%, was like you flipped a light switch.
I was in the path of totality on the last one in 2017 if I recall. Was very cool experience.
When it went 100% all the insects started making noise and they went quiet just as quick when the sun came back.
I used to be NRA member for one reason only, NRA classification for HP rifle matches. When I let my membership lapse, I found out if you change classification, they still send you a new card.
As such, they will never get another dime from me.
