Did you request the chambering for the ELD M 75gr bullets? Or is that the default SAC 223Rem long range chamber?

I have both the B&T BT46-LW17 Atlas PRS and BT65-LW17 Atlas CAL gen2 and think the CAL gen2 is a great bipod. Especially with the new generation of BT23 Ski Feet for shooting on flat surfaces such as a shooting bench or concrete floor (y)

Did you go with the 1-6.5 twist or 1-7.7 twist barrel? Pretty much a question for all SAC 223 Kit owners out there, what twist rate are you running? :)

What made you go for the 1-7.7 twist over the 1-6.5 twist?

Not trying to bypass Short Action Customs, on the contrary! I want to get everything from them, I respect the work that they did developing the 223 Conversion Kit and I hear great things about their quality. However, as I'm not from the USA I will pay a hefty export/import tax so I was wondering...

Would it be possible to have someone else make a barrel for the SAC 223 Conversion Kit? Re-using the SAC barrel extension but using for example a Proof Research DTSRS 224 blank? Or would you need a barrel blueprint?

Quite the addiction ;) I'm looking at a SAC 223 kit but so far the high cost that comes with exporting it to Europe has held me off...

What's the SKU of that magazine? I'm only aware of the short action magazine with SKU: DT-SRS-MG-AL and the long action magazine with SKU: DT-SRS-MG-BL.

6.5 PRC requires the 300WM Bolt. According to the SAAMI specifications, the 6.5 PRC cartridge has a max OAL of 2.955". A short action magazine has a maximum OAL of 2.900" and will be too short. Short Action Customs offer a custom mid-action magazine upgrade. Also, I read that people had success...

It would be sweet if some Desert Tech Dealer in Europe started offering these 223 conversion kits. We miss out on a lot of the good stuff due to ITAR... Or spend insane amounts to get it exported and imported :censored:

I'd go for a complete bolt instead of #1 and #2. Also, a set of replacement screws for the chassis/stock panels etc. would be nice and not break the bank. Maybe some small parts as ejector/extractor and pins for the bolt body? And do you want spares for the trigger? (Or get the Competition...
