    What kind of barrel life are you getting in the 6x47? I've never had a single feeding issue with my 6XC in my AT, and don't necessarily want to start. I'm trying to sell my 6xc AI barrel, mainly cause of the lack of Lapua brass. 6x47 is bad close to 6 Dasher as far as my interests are concerned.

    Not sure if serious. No, it will not fit. Your impact is made to an exacting tolerance to be able to accept prefit barrels, that is prefit barrels made for an Impact not just any prefit you have.

    Seldom would I advise you to not get two AI's, but I think if I was in your shoes I would get the pieces needed to utilize the AXMC. Once you have the bolt and mag adapter, you can shoot other short action calibers like 6.5 CM, 260, etc.
