    I have the video also. To me at least it sounds like a pain in the ass , depending on rifle and LOP eye relief might not be optimal. POI will always change so you have to zero it out everytime. Plus he sounded like he was trying to sell Larue mounts. Maybe they gave him some free ones...lol

    I don't know how it could turn heated unless someone can post data proving the article wrong. I have never read of another firearm manufacturer conducting a test like this.

    The only DOD contract I have ever heard of Bushnell having is for a spotting scope.

    It's suppose to have a snug but not overly tight fit so explain that to the person doing the job. If you decide to take it to a tool and die shop. Bring it in and show them , They are going to measure it them selves anyways.

    If you want it uniform please bring it to a tool and die shop. I'm sure there's one close in your area and it would be a piece of cake and very inexpensive . Sometimes it's much easier to find a shop like that than a gunsmith .

    I'm trying to figure out why the flash is so pronounced . Varget is a med to fast burning powder so it's fine in a 16" barrel shooting .308 It's not the powder , unless maybe it's under charged and there's not enough pressure to burn it off ? Would this cause more of a fireball? Maybe someone...

    Best thing is a can , nothing else will stop flash in real low light.

    Picked up box of .30 caliber .155 grain HPBT .308 250 count from powder valley just now , $65.00 ( no SMK or Amax 168 or 178 ) First time using Noslers and will be loading with Varget . Any of you guys ever use these?

    Last year there was a hide member that started doing this on the site. I had him do a couple for me and did great work with a fast turn around time but forgot his name and website. Does anyone one know who this was? Thanks for any help you can give me on this. Jim
