    buy the 5 -20 TR23 mildot if you are dead set on a Trijicon for a precision rifle. As to the sunshade question is it threaded for a shade? If it is Trijicon should sell it if it's not included. I would give them a call.

    I didn't think in any way AI was going to get this contract , FN or Remington were the only real contenders .It's support and politics when it comes to defense contracts. AI made an outstanding rifle but it won't win a large U.S defense contract against FNH and Remington

    "affordable and available factory ammo" lol Maybe get away from a rifle and get a cheap model 870 and shoot some clays Bulk shot shells are still pretty cheap and available. I found target loads for $50 a case . just something to think about

    I shoot a POF upper with a Gemtech and also switch it out to my DI rifle and can honestly say . Other than both getting dirty , the POF also gets pretty filthy . Both funtion fine after few hundred rounds on a good range day. I never shot over 500 rounds in a day so I can't comment on extended...
