    Spectre uses a 10mm magnum for the parent case & this essentially is the twin to the Spectre except with an ARC BF. I *believe I saw on another forum it was within 2 grains of the same case capacity?

    I think that’s exactly what it will be. A pod caster on YouTube shared to wait on a 338 Spectre video I saw last week. Hornady is stating that the new .338 ARC is capable of anything someone would use a 44 Magnum for. I think that will make it more mainstream than it otherwise would be.

    I was shooting the 150 Eldx @ 2825 from a 22” 7mm-08 regular, off the shelf Ruger American Predator. W-760 at about 47.5 grains if I remember correctly. Hopefully yours will gain another 100-125 fps once the barrel gets broken in.

    It depends where you are. Some states allow a CCWP to be used instead of the Background call; the license holder has already went thru a BGC to obtain the license. But This thread is visible in the dark.

    I was shooting the 150 ELDX out of a 22” Ruger American Predator 7mm-08 for my hunting load. Alpha Brass W-760- ~47 grains Hornady 150 ELDX- CCI LRP 2825 fps.
