    I agree, and I tried to get one but that model has been discontinued! It is a great mount, and the best for my setup, it maximizes my optics travel.     I picked up a used Vortex Impact 4k and put mounts for it on both my SRS and HTI, I also mounted the remote on the butt stock to operate with my thumb when shooting. I tried this setup out yesterday and it sure feels good, have any of you tried one of these on your DT's?

    It is a cool round, too bad it never got accepted in the main stream. The 243 WSSM was more accepted, and a very good round too. Browning made the mini / micro A Bolt for this family of "super short magnums". Winchester made model 70's for them too...

    This round really does that, but has become difficult to get and expensive. I expect the 22 Creed should work well for that, and better in the SRS.

    I did this 30" Lija in .223 WSSM a while back, it gets 4200 fps with the factory Nosler 55 grain rounds. It uses the .300 mag bolt and a modified .308 mag. It is very short, shoots well but has a terrible time ejecting. Lots of velocity with explosive results!

    The inclination angle of the mount should not be more than half the adjustment range of the optic, or you will not likely be able to zero at 100 yards. This angle allows you to use more, or all of the adjustment range.

    The more "cant" or inclination angle, the higher the mount has to be to clear the objective end of the optic.

    There is 3/8" clearance at the objective with this mounts 13 mil / 44 moa angle.

    I use a Spuhr 4808 mount on my SRS and HTI. They are 44 mm, or 1.73" from the pic rail to center of the tube at the turrets.

    Don't know about the logo, but the case is a Pelican "Vault" model. I have one of the Pelican Hartdigg mobile Armory cases that I really like for my SRS. Your setup looks good!

    If you supply the external dimensions you want, any of the top makers can do a blank for a qualified smith to chamber and thread. I have had both Lilja and Bartlien do my SRS blanks, the finish and chamber them myself.
