Sidearms & Scatterguns Best .22 pistol to run a suppressor on?

+1 On the T/C I like my Ruger but it gets absolutely filthy. The Buckmark gets more use as the open nature of the bolt stays much cleaner. A shell deflector keeps some of the mess off your optic. The barrel can be sent off for threading without hassle as it's not the actual...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Thompson Contender

I do fine with a red dot on a Buckmark where most of the weight is centered over and just forward of the grip. With the TC, all the weight is forward of the grip.

    Redding neck sizer bushing question

+1 on using a micrometer. Best bet for a critical measurement. .290 or .291 have worked for me reloading .260 & 6.5x55 I've used the Redding steel bushings in a pinch. They're a little less. Also have a few of the RCBS bushings. Even less money. That being said, the TiN bushings are...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Thompson Contender

I don't do to well with a red dot past 35 yds or so. A 10" with a pistol scope is about the limit for a hand hold and then only at short range. I haven't tried a rifle scope with taco hold. Probably should some time.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Thompson Contender

I started with just a few. Now they seem to multiply. Out of shorter barrels I like .221 Fireball, .30 Harrett, .300Blk/Whisper, 6.5TCU, 6.5 JDJ, 6.5Bullberry Imp. .44Mag, .357Max, .35Rem...

    Fieldcraft Jet stoves which one?

I've made a few soda can stoves. Very simple. I'm still partial to to the military Swedish Trangia or Svea. Maybe not so pocket friendly but the o-ring seal means you can carry it with some fuel in it, possibly eliminating the fuel bottle. The VARGO Titanium Triad is a small, lite, simple...

Sidearms & Scatterguns shooting 40sw in a 10 mm safe or spupid ?

I'll occasionally shoot .40 in a 10mm T/C Contender barrel. The extractor holds the case just fine but then they're being hand fed, one at a time. Will also shoot them in a S&W 610 using moon clips, no problems. Not sure how well it would work feeding in a semi auto.
