Is a billet Lower worth it?

I've often wondered if CNC technology had existed back in the 50s, would forged lowers have ever existed.

    AR in 9mm

Don't get me wrong. I like the mag block a lot. It works very well. Cracked lowers are probably just internet lore. BUT, not gonna put in my registered machine gun lower.

Suppressors What's required when relocating, with NFA?

If you wish, send a letter notifying them of the change of address. There is no official form for this purpose because there is no official requirement to do so.

    Watch out for old primers

You could use them in .30 Carbine, .22 Hornet, .221 Fireball, .222. I've used quite a few over the years. Just be selective.

Can't go wrong with Colt. I've a complete carbine and a short barred upper to use on a pistol lower or my 614. Get a CMMG ramped bolt or have M60Joe machine one for you. I converted several Uzi mags back when you couldn't get Colts. They work well but don't hold the bolt back when empty. No...

Rifle Scopes Blackhawk Extended Picatinny 20 MOA Base

Early Savage actions have a flat back. I believe with the introduction of the Accutrigger trigger also came the round back action. I don't think it will fit but as you already have the base, take quick look at it and the action. It should be fairly obvious without removing the scope and rings...

    6.5 Creedmoore as SHTF caliber...?

I've never been a big SHTF kind a guy. My bug out bag, is my house. I'm not going anywhere. What I AM and have been doing for the last 25 years or so is the constant pursuit of the proverbial life time supply. If tomorrow, there were NO MORE ammo or components, could I continue to shoot at my...

Maybe trade it for an M38 or a M38/96. Both have a shorter, 23 inch barrel.

Advice needed - bad batch of powder, primers, brass?

Ball powders need magnum primers for reliable ignition. You're begging for misfires if you don't use them. Some manuals will note this, some will not. If your not using them, your powder and brass are fine.

    Savage 12 LRP in .260

I've got the Sightron SIIISS832x56LRD on mine and am very pleased. The trigger is set at 10oz. It's supposed to be able to go down to 6oz but I haven't tried to go that low.
