    Mine is a 1" tube. It's held up well. Mounted on a T/C Encore barrel in .30-06. The package is very light so it is subjected to some stout recoil. It's a good bare bones scope for $200 or less.

    I like to check using a vertical line drawn an the back of some old gift wrapping paper. Put up the paper, draw the line using a carpenters level, stick an aiming dot at the bottom of the line. Shoot, raise elevation and repeat.

    While I have molds for every caliber I own I'm only casting for the .50 caliber stuff. Those bullets can get expensive.

    Take it apart and scrape the clam shells after each use. I'll also give the threads a quick brush with a brass brush. When build up starts getting in the way of reassembly, bead blast. Clam shell scraper...Cut down .50BMG case.

    I rarely cast anymore, except for the .50 Alaskan and .510 Whisper. Those big bullets are not cheep so it makes it worth the time. I've got molds in every handgun and rifle caliber I own tho. And with over 1000lbs of Linotype, I'm good to go whatever might happen.
