    Leica Rangemaster CRF 3500.COM

The man himself... Hi Lowlight, yeah a bit early most likely but there must be some out there already. This is what triggered my attention "The Class 3R laser enables reliable, repeatable measurements up to an unmatched distance of 3,500 yards – even in difficult weather conditions on all types...

Lapua Lock Base 250 gr 338 cal.

Thanks for input! The factory ammo is excellent; that's a proven fact (mostly military use) and a while ago, I was working on a load trying to come close, or even improve some, the factory ammo. I reloaded the 250 LB with enough N570 to reach around 3000 fps and the results, on short distance...

    Vortex Razor HD 4000

Mu buddy got one a week ago, went shooting last Tuesday. We could range a 36" target at 2000 yards and large rocks past 3000. Only got to play with it briefly but it seems to be a good LRF.

Is anyone running a Vortex AMG scope on a rimfire rifle?

Very similar story as Hellbender. Recently purchased a used AMG on the Hide for an Anschutz MPR .22lr. Great small center dot for .22, it is small enough that it allows you to do a real "1 holer" even at 24 power but not so small that you lose it on any dark background. Good reticle (I am pro...

Rifle Scopes Vortex hd razor gen 2 or amg

I have both RZR HD Gen2 and RZR HD AMG. The Gen2 has been on my 338LM for 18 months, no issue, tracks like a champ. I recently got the AMG and all first tests are very positive. As you probably know, the AMG is 20 oz lighter than the Gen2 (28 vs 48), a good point for hunting but the FOV will be...

Rifle Scopes Price for a used Leupold Mark 4?

Hello Anyone would know what would be a decent price for a used but in great shape Leupold Mark 4, 4.5-14x40, 30mm tube, MilDot, covered target turrets (MOA), Alumina scope covers front and back, 4" sun shade, no ring marks, comes with box and paperwork? The scope spent all its life on an...

Annealeez... Does the job or AMP that much better?

One quick note about using the Annealeez; I reload and anneal in my garage, which is away from the house, no heat or AC. Even though I live in Vegas, it gets in the 30's at night, or just below that and it does affect the propane. The flame was noticeably shorter, even at full power and it was...

    Lyman-Ohaus M5, need advice.

Hello I have an older Lyman-Ohaus M5 that I am setting up as a back up scale but do not know much about this kind of scale. When I am not using it, should I remove the pan, pan holder and arm and put it back in the case or can I just leave everything as it is?

Annealeez... Does the job or AMP that much better?

Hello, I have been looking at annealing machines and did some research online; looks like the AMP is the hot ticket but the price is stiff. I saw a couple of good vids on the Annealeez and the price is reasonable. Would the Annealeez be the way to go?

    Eberlestock Phantom, good to go?

Thanks to all for info. Phantom arrived last week; perfect size. Heavy but sturdy, seems to carry well when loaded (range gear/ammo/TRG 42 338 muzzle up). Didn't get a chance to test it for long haul but for now no hot spot and no interference with legs when walking or jogging. Could be a keeper.
