    Issue with Federal GMM brass

    Crimped primers. I think you are looking at the difference between FGMM .308 vs FGMM 7.62x51. The 7.62 FGMM is crimped IIRC. Try to buy FGMM 308 if you can find it.

    I had the same problem with a timney trigger rubbing on a 700 SA W3. The safety would not actuate. I saw where it was rubbing and just relieved the points with a file. The chassis is aluminum and won't rust... It was hard to file on something I just spent that much money on but it was done...

    Archangel with about 300 rounds of 308 through it. Repeatable .4 mil shift straight down from my zero with the can. I've shot it out to 1010 and it gets it done. It sounds great and I could not be happier.

    I had this exact same problem with a Remington 700 243 varmint. I replaced the xmark trigger with a Timney and it would fire my reloads intermittently. I thought it was my reloads so I pulled a bunch of bullets, switched primer lots, carefully reseated the primers... still failures. Long...
