    7mm Rem Mag Advice Please

Or... you could use IMR4350 and 162AMAX's or 168VLD's? Those should work alright I would think.

Hodgdon now has the 180 VLD listed for 7 Rem Mag. What's your take?

Garvey, 66.5gr of H1000 has always been good to me. 26" Sendero, 9.25" twist, 180VLD, 2800fps. 67.0-68.0gr gets me up closer to 2900fps but this is a little hotter than I would like. (by way of the usual symptoms) I believe Berger says 66gr max @ 2830fps.

    "Off the lands" ....

Now that you can accurately measure it, it provides one more adjustment knob to turn in your reloading process. Keep in mind as you shoot, the throat will errode over time and you will find yourself "chasing the lands" to keep the same amount of jump. I re-measure every 100-150 rounds or so...

RCBS Chargemaster or other electronic powder scales/dispensers

I love mine. Had it for 3 years now, no issues and you can meddle with the settings to speed it up if you want. I've never had an issue in the garage as long as it's not drafty. A lot of people turn their nose at a digital scale, but I think they are very accurate. I highly recommend the...

Gunsmithing Input on what happened to this brass...

That's not H1000, period. That being said, I think we may have found the culprit... Glad you're ok.

    Remington 700 Stock: McMillan A5, Manners T5A or B&C Tactical Medalist 5

I don't think you'd be disapointed with any of those. I only own the B&C and for the money it's hard to beat. The stock is solid, but fairly heavy. If you want a M5 DBM it will have to be milled out. Very adjustable to fit the user.

    Primer Pocket Question??..

SAMMI should have specs on this also... One of my books says SR = .123 max, .117 min and LR = .132 max, .125 min. (don't quote me on this) Usually the uniformer bit comes out of the bag/box set at the proper depth. I've never loosened the setscrews and they work fine.

What dies should I buy for 223 AR?

What he said. Good choice with the 77SMK's also, best option if you're seating to magazine length.

    Neck Turning for factory guns

It's probably yields better results when using lower grade brass like RP or WW. For some of us there's not other alternatives. I like the sinclair neck turner and the redding case neck gage as opposed to getting out the micrometer. Take off just enough so all your brass is within < 0.001"...

Question about RCBS Trim Mate Case Prep Center.

For military crimp removers checkout the RCBS website for Part# 90386/90387. I bought the 223 version and it does the trick fairly well on a trim mate.

    Concentricity gauge

I like the Sinclair. With a concentric chamber and good dies setup properly, the runout is almost always within 0.001". I doubt the Hornady gauge fixes crooked brass. More than that I think it's like splitting hairs or atoms at that point?

    M5 Stealth? DBM

Re: M5 Stealth? DBM I just ordered one in 300WM with 5 Rnd mag. It's going on a B&C Medalist Varmint/Tactical(Adjustable) Stock. Before I break out my Dremel and make a mess of the inletting, does anyone have any recommendations?

bullet runout , dont get it ... help

Re: bullet runout , dont get it ... help If your fired cases also have .005" or more runout on the necks, the rifle/chamber is likely the problem. Otherwise it's somewhere in your reloading process or the cases themselves. Fired brass should be consistant as it they are reshaped in the same...

Rifle Scopes Nightforce mounting problem, please help...

Re: Nightforce mounting problem, please help... These mount to 1913 Mil-standard rails/bases and have 20MOA built in. Is the rail you're attaching to also sloped? If so that's probably the cause/fix. If you're putting this on a bolt gun, maybe you can return it and get a NF direct mount...
