Not all the former high speed low drag crew are cut out for podcasting.

I talked to a barrel manufacturer test crew about it. Basically said the same thing. I guess if a guy could buy points on very small targets past 200 it would be hard to resist. I just did a 5 shot centerfire group at 400 the other day with 1 1/4” vertical. A 24 shot custom Rimfire rifle group...

Absolutely. I will not be making the jump to custom Rimfire ammo, even if it become ubiquitous. Reloading centerfire is not what I long to do.

Really curious what those accommodations are. Of course, custom ammo is a very big step to take, if that is what is necessary.

    How’s the gun market?

Many of my acquaintances are quietly struggling to keep up the “financially ok”facade.

    How’s the gun market?

I’m seeing the same in western Canucastan.

Why are AR15s so difficult to shoot for the average shooter?

Same reasons most people cannot shoot a bolt action well. Shit skills, shit ammo, shit gear. I just had another conversation with a new hunting family that refuses to even consider shooting Rimfire for practice. They assume a max $300 scope on their centerfires, along with a random grab bag of...

Yup, their plan is going well. Canada’s prime minister is another key part of it. Brookfield is theirs too.

MPA Rifle rings or one peice scope mount?

The cheek rest goes very low in the new positions. More like a chin/jaw line rest.

MPA Rifle rings or one peice scope mount?

A more vertical head position with a “chin weld” is more comfortable and repeatable, especially once a shooter moves to a position more square behind the rifle, rather than bladed sideways like we were taught because all our precision shooting instructors used loop slings. It means your head...

    Ukraine war Bullshit.

That shit was not for Putin. He, like every truly powerful man, is well above that crap. The flyover was for media purposes to give chubbies to the mental midgets that approach politics like pro sport’s rivalries. It’s all bullshit. Until the problem children end up still and steaming in a...

    Ukraine war Bullshit.

They either rule by however they feel at a moment in time, or more likely, just don’t feel much of anything, like a wild feline. You could call it practical, or Machiavellian, but even the females who am closest to are like this.

Why do people load so hot?

You aren’t missing anything. Like the diesel pickup owner that blows his daily driver motor or tranny screwing around on the weekend at a truck pull, most reloaders scoff at reasonable brass life or upgrading to a 300-378 Weatherby. Good quality gear and components will last if used in the...

Do I need a small base die to save my brass? 6.5CM

Super detailed and logical description. Brass quality, usually driven by cost, can have a real significant influence on this process too. Saving Lapua brass is important. Saving Hornady or Federal, maybe not so much. Once I went to high quality brass, everything got a lot simpler.
