    Bergara BXR

    Second outing at the range today. Put in a KIDD 2 stage trigger - very nice. Will take a bit of getting used to a trigger that lite. Shot CCI SV, SK LR, & Wolf Match Extra. SK LR was best, but not competitive. Will keep looking. Next up Eley Match and Tenex. OFG

    I have one. Shoots SK LR and Eley Match really well. Trigger is very adjustable for take-up, over travel and down to 8 oz or less with YoDave spring. OFG

    Degrease & nail polish or blue Loctite will do the trick, thanks. Looking forward to running some Wolf Match Extra, SK LR, Eley Match, & Tenx. want to wait for the KIDD trigger but probably won’t be able to hold out. OFG

    Finally got to the range today. Loaded 7 Ruger brand and the included Bergara mag with CCI SV. All the Ruger mags were flawless. With Bergara mag, last round FTF. Could be due improper re-assembly by me. Will revisit that. CCI SV not going to be competitive. Sure the thread protector working...

    Help outfitting my CZ 452

    Pillar bedded my 453 (452 with better trigger) and it shoots with the Annies, Win 52s, and Vudoos. Caldwells makes a sling stud/ pic rail adaptor that works very well. OFG

    I use Vortex low rings on a 30 MOA rail mounting a 50 mm objective scope. Might want to check to see if low rings would work. OFG

    Bergara BXR

    Picked up my BXR yesterday. Sure enough the Bergara mag would not drop free even after 10+ reps. Turned out that rear plate was 0.011” wider then on the Ruger. Five minutes with a sanding block and problem solved. OFG
